Anya Phillips on the set of 'The Foreigner,' New York City 1977

Mudd Club co-founder and seminal Downtown art scene legend, Anya Phillips, on the set of Amos Poe’s 'The Foreigner' by Fernando Natalici.

Phillips was a fashion designer, artist, dominatrix, stripper, actress, music manager, and photographer; a legendary scenester among downtown artists and celebrities. A rare revealing portrait of the late 70s and early 80s downtown punk and no wave icon before she died of cancer at the age of 26.

Each digital  print is signed by the photographer, mounted and comes in a protective mylar sheet, ready to frame.
