Phillips was a fashion designer, artist, dominatrix, stripper, actress, music manager, and photographer; a legendary scenester among downtown artists and celebrities. A rare revealing portrait of the late 70s and early 80s downtown punk and no wave icon before she died of cancer at the age of 26.
